My name is Lamia Hanna and I am the President of the Metrolina Phoenician Club. I am originally from Lebanon and have been living in Charlotte for most of my life. I am a business owner, a wife, mother to three beautiful children, and a grandmother. I am a woman with a lot of tasks, who also enjoys helping people.

My name is Tony G. Bikhazi, born and raised in Beirut, Lebanon. I graduated from the American University of Beirut with a Bachelor Degree in Business Administration. I enjoyed a long career in the airline industry which gave me the opportunity to live and work in 10 different countries as well as the enjoyment and appreciation of different world cultures, ethnic foods and languages. I found the love of my life, Lakana, from the Land of Smiles, Thailand. Lak and I immigrated to the USA in 1990 and we have made the Queen City our permanent home since then. We joined the MPC in 1992 and I have been serving on its Board since 1994. It's my privilege and honor to have been representing the MPC as NC State VP for the SFSLAC in the last past five years.
Dr. Wissam Nadra

My name is Dr. Wissam Nadra and I am a pediatrician in private practice around the Lake Norman area, just north of Charlotte. Born in Sebnay, Lebanon, I grew up in Dubai and later in Los Angeles, CA, after immigrating to the US with my parents and two younger brothers. Shortly after we got married, my beautiful wife Widad and I moved to NC in 2000. We have three children: 18 yo daughter Nahi, and two sons: Edouard (16) and Nicolas (11) that were born in NC and being raised here. Joining the Metrolina Phoenician Club (MPC) as a member in 2004, I later served on the Board for a number of years off and on, prior to assuming the position of MPC President for the years 2016 and 2017. I remain active currently on the Board as Past President.

Hi! My name is Ghada Ternanni and I have served as the Metrolina Phoenician Club Secretary since 2016 and as the Head of Marketing since 2018. Born in the USA and raised in the Charlotte area, I am the oldest of 4 daughters to Lebanese Immigrant parents. I graduated from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte in 2016 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in Finance, Magna Cum Laude. Always being connected to my Lebanese heritage, during my time at UNC Charlotte, I chartered and founded the Lebanese Student Association. On the national level, I had the honor of representing North Carolina in the Miss Lebanon Emigrant USA Pageant in 2015. I currently work at Bank of America as an Assistant Vice President | Senior Financial Analyst supporting Fortune 500 Corporate Banking Clients.

Abeer Kobercy Saad
Head of Young Adults Group
My name is Abeer K. Saad and I was born in Lebanon. I am happily married to Nicolas Saad and we have two beautiful kids, Yara who is 8 years old and Yazan who is 4 years old. I have a Bachelors of Arts from the Lebanese American University and a Masters of Business Administration from Wingate University in Charlotte, NC. I am the Vice President of YARA INCORPORATED and I also freelance as a make-up artist and event planner. I have been a MPC board member since 2013. I love traveling, socializing and creating something from anything.

My name is Johnny Mawardi and I am originally from Syria. I have been living in Charlotte for 20 years and I love everything about it. I graduated from the University of South Carolina in Business Management and Marketing and I now help manage my families real estate all over the US. I was originally part of the Young Adults committee at MPC for 5 years and I recently became a Board Member in 2018. I love to travel and explore the world. Welcome to the MPC!
Dr. Emile Khuri
My name is Dr. Emile Khuri and I am originally from Palestine. I spent the best years of my life in Lebanon, as I graduated from American University in Beirut with a Medical Doctor degree 51 years ago and met my bride of 47 years. I am blessed with three children and seven grandchildren.

My name is Omar Elkara and I am originally from Lebanon. I have lived in Charlotte for 30 years and have been a board member of the MPC for 27 years. I have been head chef for many different country clubs in Charlotte and I am the Head of Events Catering at MPC. I am looking forward to seeing you all at MPC Events!
