Purpose:

Thanks to the philanthropic generosity of some members, The Metrolina Phoenician Club has established two annual scholarships of $2000 each. These are:

• The Tony and Lakana Bikhazi Scholarship Fund, starting 2007.
• The Wasfi and Hana Barakat Scholarship Fund, starting 2008.

These funds are designed to provide financial assistance to students who are determined to pursue higher education.

Eligibility:

• A scholarship of $2000 per year will be awarded to a freshman in College.
• The eligible student should be eager to pursue higher education, has good achievements in High School, and is in need of financial support.
• The priority of selection would go to a student from our community.

Candidate Choice:

• Please print the Scholarship Application form and fill it completing all the requirements as per the listed instructions.
• Complete applications must be received by the Club President no later than May 5, 2008.
